Easter Science Scavenger Hunt

Welcome to the Dynamic Earth Science Scavenger Hunt! Each day over the spring holidays we are challenging you to take a photo of something different near to where you live. If you are lucky enough to live in Edinburgh then we have some specific challenges but don’t worry if you don’t, you can still take part in your local area.

Each day there are two fantastic activities for you to try at home and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10am there are sessions with our Learning Team on YouTube. Don’t worry if you miss them, they will be recorded and on YouTube for you to watch anytime!

Each day you can use your scavenger hunt photo as an entry into our Easter Holiday Prize Draw. You do this by posting your photo to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and using the hashtag #DEScavenger. You can enter once per day for more chances in the prize draw. The first place winners will get a family pass to use at Dynamic Earth when it’s safe to open again and three runner ups will get Dynamic Earth goodie bags!

Each day is inspired by a different letter - see if you can unscramble them all to spell out the name of somewhere in Edinburgh!
